SHIPPING & RETURNS

We want you to be delighted with your purchase. If for any reason you're not satisfied, you can return your unworn and undamaged jewelry within 30 days of purchase for a full refund or exchange. Please refer to our detailed return policy for more information on the process, including exclusions.

Yes! We are located in the South-east corner of Manitoba and ship Canada-wide.

At this time we do not ship outside of Canada.

Yes, regular Canada-wide shipping is included on all orders over $225 before taxes and after any discount offers have been applied.

We process and ship orders Tuesday through Friday. Regular shipping takes 5-8 business days, Express shipping takes 2-3 business days.

Choice of metal for an engagement is important as it affects how it looks, how durable it is, and it's longevity. We suggest minimum 14 karat gold as it will wear slower over time than 10 karat gold or sterling silver. Platinum is also a great choice for engagement rings.

Yes. Lab-grown diamonds are chemically, physically, and optically identical to natural diamonds.

Many people have heard of the three month salary rule, but the best budget is the one that feels comfortable for you while still choosing a ring your partner will love.

There are a few factors that affect how long it takes to receive your engagement ring. If you choose a 'ready-to-ship' engagement ring in a stock size (size 5.0-7.0), it can be to you in as little as a week. If you require customizations, such as a different shaped center diamond or a complete custom design, or a size outside of the stock size range, it can take 3-6 weeks. Ready-to-ship rings are standard at size 6.5 and can usually be sized two sizes up or down. Sizing more than the two sizes up or down needs to be done at the manufacturer and will be sent to them for sizing.

Round brilliant is most popular for its sparkle. But shapes like oval and radiant have grown in popularity over recent years.

We carry a small selection of coloured stone engagement rings in stock but are happy to customize any of our styles with a coloured gemstone.

Coloured gemstones are not as hard as diamonds and are more prone to chipping and/or cracking over time. They will also abrade on the top easier, making them a higher maintenance piece for daily wear.

Custom Jewellery

We are located in Steinbach, Manitoba, 45 minutes south of Winnipeg and two hours west of Kenora. Our custom jewellery is designed and crafted by a local goldsmith shop.

Although the majority of our clients do ask for ring designs, we can do many different types of pieces, including bracelets, earrings and pendants.

There are a number of factors that determine the final cost, such as how much gold is needed, what type and how many stones are being set into the ring and how labour & time intensive it is for the goldsmith to work on. We find that the average range for a redesign is $1500-$2000 and for an engagement ring it is $2500-$5000. To get an idea of cost for your project we recommend booking a free consult with one of our custom jewellery consultants above.

Once you have commissioned custom piece you will receive an initial render of your design in 3-5 business days. From approved design to finished piece the process can take 3-6 weeks depending on the scope of the project.

Yes, once you have approved the design, we need a 50% deposit before we begin creating your jewellery.

Yes, you can put old pieces that you no longer wear or have inherited towards your new custom jewellery. Sometimes we can melt it down and use the actual gold in your piece. If it is not possible to melt properly, we will give you a credit for the gold that you can use against your final cost. Diamonds can often be reused, coloured stones in excellent condition can also be reused.

Yes! We have done quite a few pieces for men over the years, from family rings to unique pendants, we have enjoyed creating custom jewellery for our male customers.

Once you have booked your custom consult your can expect the following:

Your custom jewellery consultant will meet with you, chat about your style, what you like and the story behind why you want a custom piece.
These details will be passed along to the CAD designer, who will work up the first version of your custom jewellery design and you will be sent a render for approval.
You communicate any changes you wish to make.
Once you have approved the design and placed the 50% deposit, we print the wax.
The wax gets casted.
Your custom piece then goes into the goldsmith shop where the goldsmith solders, files, sets the stones and polishes your piece.
You custom jewellery consultant will let you know that you can come pick up your brand new custom jewellery!

No, we are happy to work with you wherever you are! We can set up a virtual consult by video or phone, email or text design and securely ship your finished piece to you.

Generally, yes. We encourage you to book an appointment with our custom design team to discuss your needs and wants further.

PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE

White gold and platinum are both stunning choices. White gold is an alloy of gold and other metals, plated with rhodium for a bright white finish. Platinum, on the other hand, is a naturally white metal that develops a beautiful patina over time. Both are durable and elegant; the choice depends on your personal preferences and budget.

Engagement rings are usually 14 karat gold because it will wear slower over the lifetime of the ring, keeping your maintenance costs lower.

All our jewellery has a one (1) year warranty that covers any breakage or stone loss under normal and intended wear and usage.

CARE & SERVICES

To keep your jewellery looking it's best it is wise to care for it according to the materials and your lifestyle. Pearl jewellery is more sensitive than diamond jewellery and therefore has different guidelines for care. We also recommend taking your jewellery to a reputable dealer every 6-12 months for a professional cleaning and inspection. To find your ring size at home, use our ring sizing guide. Alternatively, visit a local jeweler who can measure your ring size accurately. Keep in mind that fingers can swell in different temperatures, so it's advisable to measure at various times of the day.

Yes, we do battery and strap/bracelet changes while you wait. We also have a watch technician that can diagnose and repair movement issues.

Yes, we create new appraisals as well as update existing ones. Bring the piece in, along with the existing appraisal in you have one, and we will text you when it is ready for pickup. The process takes 5-10 business days.

Appraisals should be updated every 3-5 years, or when gold increases significantly. If you are unsure, please reach out to us and we can help you determine if it is time for an updated appraisal.
